ABC by far, but of the commercial networks I favour 10 and 7. I'll have none 9 News except their weather report.

Truth be told, though, I source the majority of my news online nowadays.

The SBS 9:30pm news is the best.

Google News is also a good central resource, with newspapaers (not the Advertiser) being handy if you want more detail.
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Ten and ABC News on top, followed by Nine, AdelaideNow/Advertiser and then Seven News.

The commercial stations don't really provide any news just an endless cycle of the same stories that get repeated every few weeks or months and the current affairs shows do nothing but publish tabloid trash to save their viewers from having to actually read it for themselves.

SBS news is by far the best news followed closely by the ABC. This is where you can actually find out about, well, news because believe it or not there's an entire world out there.

Slightly off topic but I think that it is disgraceful that Channel 10 news is broadcast out of Melbourne. Perth has just had theirs moved back to be locally produced, I would like to see the same with ours.

I think ABC is the best but probably watch a combination of 10 and 9... I will have nothing to do with 7. ABC news is just on at a bad time for me.

Channel 7 news appears to have been filmed in my back shed. I expect to see a paint-tin fall off the shelves in the background in the middle of a startling revelation from Graeme Goodings, or something equally suburban.

That's not the main issue, however - what frightens me is that the embarrassing clap-trap of Tracey Grimshaw continues to be put to air five nights a week.

i like channel 7's backdrop with the live (i think) shot of Adelaide. Better than Channel 9's pictures from like 3 years ago.

Speaking of Channel 10, is there any real chance on them moving the Adelaide news back here? Since they just built their new building is there any room for a news studio in there?

I like Channel 10 but I wish they'd film it back in Adelaide???
George Donikian's pretty cool though!!!

Our families always watched the 9 news but I especially used to think Xavier Minnacon was pretty funny sometimes on the weather!

They do the weather and sport from adelaide, just not the news with George Donikian and Rebecca Morse. So stupid they should just to it all here.

Seven News by far for me. Love the live shot for the background, set, graphics, presenters and the news service.

While I like the presenters who present 9 News Adelaide, the set, graphics and the whole show reminds me something from the 80s. Ten News is okay, however it can not call itself 'local news' when its filmed in Melbourne and there can be quite a few stuff ups on the show.

Though now with Perths service being relocated back to WA (originally filmed in Sydney), hopefully it will soon happen for Adelaide.

ABC News is pretty good too

Slightly of topic, Adelaide is set to have its own locally produced A Current Affair - commencement dates and a host for the show are yet to be released. Perth will also get its own locally produced ACA.

Channel 10 as the top news in Adelaide? You have to be kidding. It is by far the worst. It is nothing but dramatic bullshit stories about nothing stretched out over an hour with too many long ad breaks. You get more out of 7 and 9 in 10 minutes and ABC is by far the best news imo.

The amount of stories that are obviously paid for to promotoe medical companies (among others) on channel 10 is rediculous as well. It is also very distressing when you live with someone with a life threatening illness and all you get is so many medical hype stories with no substance which do more harm than good. Channel 10's Adelaide news is a joke! The other commercial stations aren't great either but 10 is the worst.

Not only that but Ten news on Sundays isn't even produced in Adelaide, instead being from the eastern seaboard (either NSW or Queensland). There was one slip up a few weeks ago when the Ch 10 'The Guide' had pubs, clubs and resturaunt listings from places such as Bondi and Punchbowl with the opening and closing graphics including shots of Sydney Harbour. Yeah, really useful Ch 10! The next add break also had 'The Guide' but was set for Adelaide this time.

Ive always watched Channel 9 news, yet I cant stand how much crows crap is on it. And 9 seems to have way more adds than on 7 news.

Channel 10 news set is filmed in Melbourne, however I believe even some Syd and Bris Sunday arvo bulletins also come from Melb, with George Donikian doing the lot.
I find it funny when sports tonight film a seperate football segment just for us, and the presenter has to read out the SANFL scores, as you can tell its the first time hes probably heard of the names of these clubs. Channel 10 dont do a very good job of prentending to be local.
