I'm a bit disappointed with the Optus one. It shows Adelaide... but then it zooms out from Sydney on the east coast! Damn them!

Most of Optus TV Ads of late are shot in Adelaide.

Remember the ads for the Optus Wireless Broadband? They are shot in Adelaide as well.

Also the Prepaid Turbocharged Hummer, was purchased from Adelaide, and most filming was done in Adelaide, despite having the fake NY background.

There was one for a behemoth 4 wheel drive ad from almost 2 years ago, I saw them filming in Bentham street. I wondered why they had a 4WD up on a dolly and were rolling it down the street. Later I saw the ad on TV. They'd CGed a fake ground under the car (hence elevating it on a dolly) which cracked and crumbled away. They just left the façade of the old building in the shot (47 Waymouth I think).

I know! I noticed that too the first time I saw it on televeision. Bloody Sydneysiders trying to pass off our beautiful GPO clocktower as their own. Damn them all to hell!
