Point taken! I did think that was what you meant, but it was an unqualified statement. Great to see such development - especially at the east end of Jetty Rd. Much needed.

Well, nothing left now. All the rubble has been cleared away (probably a while ago, I've been out of Adelaide for a week and saw the site today for the first time since I got back).

I wonder if they'll be starting construction straight away, or will they wait until after Christmas?

Given that they reckon the new centre will be complete by September 2009, I think they will need every day they can get so hopefully they will start immediately.

Hi Guys,

I heard that there will be a gym in the new development. Does anyone know what gym it will be e.g. fitness first, beachhouse, zest, etc....

Also does anyone know what other shops will be at this development. Just moved into the area and cant wait for it to be finished.

Cheers,

The plans are on display at the site, in the front window of Woolworths, or at least they were a couple of weeks ago when I last looked.

I saw this like three days ago, and the concrete pillars are up on the Jetty Road side, and the pipe/cable trenches dug out on the Brighton road side.

Is this really going to be 6 levels..... From the render it looks like it will only be 3.

Yes, this building will only be 3 levels. The poster that they have outside Woolworths displays a 3 level building. Furthermore a few pages back there is an article from the Messenger explaining how the project will be 3 levels.

Originally the project was intended to be 6 levels however this exceeded the council's strict height limits and thus had to be reduced to the current 3 levels.
