If I had to guess, I'd say it's the big empty block next to the car park on the laneway.

I thought it could have been that site. I also thought possibly the planet site cos it's all on the same block though I think what you said ATD is most likely. Hopefully they will contruct a building to cover up the carpark on that land, now that a super fund owns it surely they will see it more viable to have a low - mid rise apartment bringing in income like originally proposed, rather than nothing.

The empty block I mentioned was going to be Dakota on Wyatt, which was killed (or so we thought).
In the AFR, it says construction of apartments on the site is already approved. (Thanks to Muse on
SSC)

Update: Today (Sunday, December 3rd.), Flinders Street closed off as Favco (tower crane) is coming down. More glass panels going up on Flinders Street facade.
Cheers

Down comes the crane. Up goes the final lot of glass. Those cooling towers are too much, far too big for the building. From today.

Pics from today. This is glass alley now
Amazing how much these two buildings have transformed and modernised Flinders Street.

I bet there's a lot of backslapping going on at Adelaide City Council. Thank god the interesting design elements on the Santos building were knocked back.
Think about it guys, we could've had something in Adelaide that wasn't a rectangle - there could have been a war.

My thoughts exactly. I am dissapointed that basically all the new buildings in Adelaide are cubes or rectangles. We deserve more shapes!

If you have a look now at the western side, they are placing polished stainless steel awnings, and they look fucking horrible.
Big dissapointment this tower, they should have used the original high reflective glazing, not the cheap shit that on it now.
