Alternatively despite the fit that half the posters on here went onto, they took a couple of days off, got the issue resolved and then carried on with the project without it turning into a media circus.iTouch(myself) wrote:Mustn't have been so sacred afterall.Wayno wrote:i thought this was stalled pending sacred site concerns?

A couple from Friday - they've excavated the access road beyond the site gate, & looks like they have started lifting tracks in Adelaide yard...

Found these new high-res renders and fly-through at http://www.sahmri.com/
Seems there's now a triangular lattice skin of some sort around the building. Personally I preferred the transparent, etheral-like - and probably unrealistic - appearance of the previous incarnation, but this still looks pretty spiffing. I just hope they pull it off in reality - the devil is in the detail!

at least they haven't dumbed it down. They've spruced it up instead. Maybe a little bit too much, but it's ok

I hope the Hospital will look as good or better. But before that i'd hope this research facility turns out to look as amazing as it does in the renders ( and how often does that happen in Adelaide
)
Have they started clearing out the old Railyards yet, now that the new Dry Creek facility is finished?

Not yet, but all of the yards are covered in survey markers, won't be too much longer before they are ripped upmetro wrote: Have they started clearing out the old Railyards yet, now that the new Dry Creek facility is finished?

As far as I can tell 1 or 2 tracks into the rail yard were cut for the site, but the depot was still in use on Monday. Dry Creek still to be commissioned??metro wrote:I hope the Hospital will look as good or better.
