The ACC approve a shit box design like this and yet they reject 123 Flinders street. What a farce!

Refer to the original render on page 1 of this thread, the building is NOTHING like it, so to be fair to the ACC they never approved the building in its current form, it has clearly been dumbed down to a hideous extent!

Does the ACC have any recourse against developers when this happens?? What a shocking outcome.

Quick build something taller and nicer next to it to overshadow the thing.

I really don't see how a building as plain and simple as this can be approved. It is essentially 4 side of pre cast (yes with patterns) but no colouring whatsoever. Atleast it's down an alley and most people won't notice it but seriously ACC is this what you want our skyline to look like?

They approved the amendments. You can't completely re-design a building without referring it back to council.

I reckon it has ended up looking similar to the very first design from 2003:

It's actually not that bad, it just needs other buildings around it.

It would be alright if it had some colour, but it's so much better than this design
