Very narrow! 18 fllors looks about 14 when measured against DJ's. Floor plates must be very close.Good to see yet another high rise - the first this year :?:

This marks the 100th project on my little database. :) (Although there's 11 complete, cancelled or unknown)

It'd be a good addition IMO, the Club 199 building detracts from the area around it.

It [as well as the car park opposite] is owned by Naomi Travers-Triguboff who is the niece of billionaire Harry Triguboff of Meriton. You would think she could bulldoze it and get her uncle in to build a new tower.
Yes, and that one unit apartment on top is er... ridiculous.

You mean the bright red & glass Club 199? There's nothing worth retaining there, so much so I don't actually have a photo of it handy!

I got a photo of it earlier today which I will post sometime within the next too days or so. Looks like something a 5 year old would make out of a tin can and playdough.

Club 199 was an alright venue, i saw a few gigs there for the last fringe festival. had quite a good atmosphere.
not much from the outside though, hopefully this looks nothing like eastwest.

If Club 199 is 199 North Terrace, and that appears to be the only building demolished in the renders, then why is 200 North Terrace also mentioned in the development application, keeping in mind that the number 200 is stuck to the front of the former Gallerie?

The facade is not worth retaining, seriously.
