Didn't think Italy had skyscarpers or tall buildings lol
The leaning tower of Piza was one of the first skyscrapers ever built, Too bad the footings were wrong. :)

But a lot of italians are concreters (or plumbers) lol

Great shot UrbanSG! Really gives a great impression of the city!

I have been analysing the photography over some time on this site and I have noticed that it all sells' Adelaide as an alive place with plenty happenning . In other words - it comes across as a city and not some backwater/dump. I have noticed the carefully framed subjects do a lot for the city - far more IMO that all the touristy pictues that give an impression of a much smaller place that is almost left behind - the CBD hardly figures at all.

Some of the photos I have used on my desktop. One person said, 'Is that Adelaide - looks like Brisbane?' :D

Congratulations every one.

ADELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE.

Some more pics from today, loving this development. Those pods are toilets by the way. That could get very public if it wasn't for the frosted glass. Very clever desgin to maximise floor plates for offices.

Loving the tramline landscaping they have done so far. I was hoping they would plant that type of grass, as opposed to the original plants the ACC had to constantly change every month or so before.

Ahhh, the serenity that must surround you whilst you look over Victoria Square as you take a leak.

CC2 is nicer than CC1, but I have never liked the pods. Contrary to most of you, I would have preferred another 'glass box'.

These buildings don't look much different than the (old) avant-garde MLC building in Victoria Square... :)

Cheers

Yes I also think that. I actually remember making that comment when the glass was starting to be attached to CCT1.

I hope the other CC buildings are going to adopt a new design. Both CC buildings thus far are quite uninspiring in design, although the green-star rating is to be applauded. Would be great to see something a little more dramatic over-looking Victoria Square.

My thoughts exactly - boring looking but green star rating is to be applauded. However, if all our new buildings focus on the green star rating and are as bland as these towers, we will have a very boring but energy efficient city.

Yes, I'm a bit disappointed with how this project is turning out. Not one piece of interesting architecture as of yet.
