I'm not a great fan of what I assume to be white window eaves or something similar poking out all over. CC1, while not the best design in the world, at least looks relatively clean - its flush glass towering over CC2 in the above photo is a much better look. This seems cluttered.

To borrow from Ja'ime - I think both buildings are fugly.

They're just so bland, cheap and uninspired, and (yes I sound like a broken record) - that green glass is just revolting.
I hope the next phase is an improvement.

Maybe we should pass judgement when this building is finished.

A couple more CC2 pics from today. It is almost externally complete, crane should be comming down soon. I personally think it is a huge improvement on what was there, but each to their own.

I believe CC2 is impressive from all except the southern aspect - the appendages tend to distract from the impression of height and break the continuity from the top to bottom when the building needs to be taller for such additions.
Nevertheless, in the context of ALL the buildings proposed, my statement may be invalidated.

What's the next project on the cards for CC?

I like how CC2 is turning out, its great standing at the Pirie St tram stop and looking towards it. However I'm not mad on the southern side, which is quite disppointing as you can see CC2 from Victoria Square.

Thanks! I knew there was a thread about CC somewhere, but I couldn't find the damn thing.

The potential for that whole block is remarkable.

Now that the crane is coming down, does that mean that the concrete fencing jutting out on to
king william street will also be removed?
