That building needs to wipe and redo its mascara when it's been crying

This tower is an absolute blight on the skyline. My hopes for something decent with Adelaidean aren't that high. I'm expecting a facade of almost transparent glass and a miss mash of curtains. Completely bereft of any redeeming features.

It's my impression that the idea was for this to be plain to reflect better on the taller tower being built next to it (by the same people) and, practically, to minimise the views of the students into the apartments facing this building. That's no excuse for it being approved as it was; I just think that explains how bad and plain it is.

As already said, it's funny though how so many people piled in on how bad the 'demented jigsaw' student building on Waymouth supposedly was (thanks to the campaign run by the Advertiser) but this one somehow slips under the radar? LOL.

I much prefer the abomination on Waynouth over this. Both just need to be painted in a fun patch colour scheme. They won’t be amazing but they will lift. I can’t believe this is a standard we are okay with today. It’s very problematic that they approved like this.

Dwell signage is now up on the roof.

Crane is starting to come down today.

I drove past earlier. They were taking out middle sections of the crane reducing its height.

Ahh ok. I was gonna ask how the building looks in person. If you were driving though that would've been a bit hard lol
