This one isn't looking too bad, we need more of this glass recladding in Adelaide, from today:
On a side note on refurbs, the old 18 level ANZ building has suggested in an advertisement on propertylook.com.au that
'upgraded fitouts and new tenancy facade may be negotiated' Not sure if that means the whole building could have an upgraded facade or just the ground level section. That building really needs it so it would be great if it was the whole building. Glass would be optimal but not that likely, one can only dream

Oh that would be great if the old ANZ buildings facade was updated, it is looking very outdated.
The building next to it, looks like its getting facade makeover aswell. By the way thanks for the updates as usual UrbanSG - top work
Anyway, does anyone know whats going on with the building on the cnr of Rundle Mall and Gawler Place, last time I was there it was covered in mesh - anyone know?

The UNI SA City West building is spectacularly beautiful. If it doesn't win an award there is something wrong. It is probably the best building built in Adelaide for over a decade.

The bland appearance is due to it being designed down to a cost and to the standardising influence of the Building Code of Australia.
Parking looks a bit tight, both access and numbers. If you had one of the 5 x 3 bed apartments you might want to keep one of your probable two parks empty and lease it to someone in the offices section of the building to subsidise your rent/mortgage.
Only when we get rid of developers who think that the only goal in developing a site is to maximise the net lettqable floor area at the cheapest rate per metre, will we get some decent architecture in this town.
