Siggs, Designer Direct plays a very VERY important part not just to the Tea Tree Plaza Upgrade, but to the optimistic future of Adelaide. Because they've reopenned in TTP, this means the whole of Adelaide can receive perfect public transport, a North-South Freeway, 5 1000m+ towers and Aidans beloved Subway, all at the same time :)

There is one at Harbourtown that got rennovated. The one at Thebarton (which was originally Cash Converters) is now Total Tools.

Now imagine how wonderful it would be if one day Adelaide gets so good that we have a Designer Direct with a McDonalds inside of it!

Obviously I'm talking about the very distant future, if ever. It could happen though! In fact, maybe that's the ultimate solution to the Victoria Square problem? ;)

A friend of a cousin of a friend of mine said they heard that they're getting one in Melbourne! We can't let them have something we don't, can we??

I was thinking that like the one at the Renaissance Arcade, Toys "R" Us will also close and the Woolworths will relocate to where TRU was. Then the former Woolworths space will be gutted out, letting the expansion take place. Hence why the logos on the buildings haven't been updated. And the former HS/Cheap As Chips space could likely become a Spotlight.

You're not thinking of Rundle Mall?

ml69 and AtD - yes, Kmart are going into Toys R Us, but in Rundle Mall not TTP. Kmart is staying put in TTP....for now.
