ah ok, I was still going by the render that they have imaged on the outside of the construction site fence. Whoops

It does look distinctly different to the first render we got - not as good. Hope it is all perspective and/or not as well drawn.

The design hasn't changed, it is just that the first renders show a realistic artists impression of the development whereas the one I posted a few days ago is a more 'blueprint' type image.

thanks Will, I did suspect something like that but the 'blueprint' idea did not come to mind.

Guys - the last posted picture is a shaded line drawing, not a photo-realistic render. It's functionally the same as the pictures at the start of this thread.

Thanks for teh photo. Drove past on the weekend and good to see it going up so quickly. But those windows are so small. They could easily have been 50% bigger. I guess the balcony will help to provide some relief but I have a real thing against tiny windows

External window treatment on the Nth Terrace side are yet to be applied (sun shades above windows, and to the side of the lower levels too!) as well as a snazzy paint job. They are small windows though...

When I walked past this area last week, I noticed that the footpath in front of this site along Bank St has been widened. Is that a permanent change, or is it just a temporary part of the work?

The new render doesn't look that bad in IMO I like how they're trying to compromise curves and cubes :D

It's interesting there's no climbing collar on this crane. Looking at this photo, it'll need a rise soon.
