g'day guys...i stumbled across this site on the weekend, its coming along nicley and the renders up on the site look great! Does anyone know much about the construction company building it? I haven't seen much of them around Adelaide.

Well, yes. Seeing out of one's window is fairly overrated, I must say.

Good to see - they sure need to do something about those window though. (Bit of a far cry from the aesthetics of the previous bldg.).

BTW - recently read that finances put into apartmernts in Adelaide has almost halved since last year. (from AFR news about the matter). Will be interesting re student accommodation.

I was in the city last week with a couple of friends who don't follow this type of thing at all and even they commented on how "Soviet" the building looked with its tiny windows.

Maybe it could be remaned the Gulag - acronym for Chief Administration of Corrective Labor Camps and Colonies (in Russian: ??????? ?????????? ?????????????-???????? ??????? ? ???????; Glavnoye Upravlyeniye Ispravityel'no-Trudovih Lagyeryey i koloniy)

The UrbanGulag… could be a mildly effective marketing tool.
