I don’t hate it as much as most of y’all. If the glazing is decent it could turn out fairly well.

The design has shifted somewhat from the above. It's far less 'shiny' and the visual transition between floors is more compact now with thiner slabs, while the ground level has been recessed to the north and covered to the east. There was a question pending over the copper coloured elements in their last dev variation (gov architect wanted samples) but I don't know what happened with that application. Here's the most recent available design render:

If the slab "overrun" on the corners of the building were removed and it was just glass it would look slightly better.

Wasn't there one further render released because hey were asked to include Adelaidian in the pic for comparison or the like?

It looks odd to be shown surrounded by two-storey buildings without Adelaidean or Dwell anywhere nearby.

Looks like the form work for the core is underway. Won't be too much longer and this one will be shoot up!

This must have a chance of being delayed or cancelled right now? With travel bans now in effect it might take years for international student numbers to recover.

You would assume they have signed a building contract and are committed to continue. Hopefully by the time its finished [1.5 years?] things would be different/better.

Yeh they would be aiming for intake for first semester 2022.
