Out of curiosity... how do we know that the height would be 127 metres? What is the source of this number?

Started wondering about it after having a look in the 3D development activity tracker https://sagov.maps.arcgis.com/apps/weba ... 19509f197d
In it, it says that the height is 120 metres. This might be outdated, so I would like to have a look at a better source, that's all, just out of curiosity.

A quick look at various sources under the Google search "Victoria Tower adelaide height" often quotes it as 120m.

Perhaps, but the above attachment also says the cost (I'm assuming construction cost) is $25 million.

Now I'm no construction expert or accountant, but I'd be pretty sure the construction cost would be at least several times that amount.

You're right about that. In Synergy's website (the builder) says $130 million. Another one says $125 million, and other 2 sources say $200 million.
Seems like no one can agree on the cost nor the height
Most agree on 285 apartments, 37 levels and apparently 120 metres height

It will be taller, but apparently not by much. That one will be 130 metres apparently (other sources mention a few less metres), so just 10 metres taller.

I certainly would've preferred Victoria Tower significantly taller.

That hasn't been confirmed, the render in that image looks like it isn't taller than 135m. That could very well be what they mean by 'tall'.

7metres makes very little difference from afar.

There’s no prescribed height limit in that area, so there’s a solid chance we’ll get something huge.

Is there a document or something where the public can check what's the height limit and other details of a certain area??

From what it's worth, I've seen two documents/pages list the tower as 122.5m tall. Perhaps the title should be updated to 122m (or round it up to 123m!)

I just don’t see it happening, not with Freemasons still to get off the ground.

I’m expecting 150 tops.

This is off topic though. This tower may be one of my favs if it keeps going up like it has been.

I think the height came from this 122.5 and then there was an application for an additional level.
