AUTA group are in the process of setting up a showroom for this development. It hasn’t been lodged yet and I’m not sure if any of these renders are the final version but something must be coming soon.

This will be right next door to the the planned stage 2 of Uniting Communities. So two towers of similar height if I'm not too wrong. Besides the 110 metre at the old MLC Building in Vic Square.
Cheers

Interesting. I would have thought those current dwellings would be heritage listed, but I was wrong. I wish they would redevelop that open air car park instead though.

Interesting...
Along with Currie Street & King Willy South, Grote Street is one of the streets I'd most like to see built up.
Can't wait to see what's proposed.

Not to mention Council's ~135m market arcade redevelopment due to kick off next year just across the road.

I suppose i'd take the first one but looks like a bit of a Meriton job that you'll find a thousand of in sydney. Maybe the developer got lost?

First render is what we'll be promised...
Second render will be what we get...
Hope I'm wrong.

Prefer the second render, it's much more suitable for Adelaide's skyline, the first reminds me of beachside east coast. The second render reminds for of Wingfold Tower which has turned out great, so I wouldn't mind seeing a taller version of that in the area.
[U/C] Re: 32 Grote Street | ~110m | 32 levels | apartments
Both pretty average but imo the first one has more potential with refinements.
We need more different designs going up, not more of the same.

The first render made me think of Gold Coast 2002, the second one Adelaide 2018. Can we have something in between please

Auta Group behind is behind this. They developed East End Apartments and Central Adelaide Apartments. So, reasonable prospect that this one gets up too when it's backed by chinese money.

Article over at InDaily though not much new information, aside that the site purchase is still being resolved: https://indaily.com.au/news/2020/09/15/ ... heme-site/

Looks like they are now using our site as a resource too. Even quoting my guesstimated height
