It does say laser tag and bumper cars on that sign.
Also cafe.
Plus JB hi-fi.
Small space? It is the old level 1/ground floor/food court level of Myers.

Timezone?? Never expected they to build at Timezone bowling one if there going to keep there old Timezone
Given the size of the current Timezone, and it's being relatively new itself, I wonder if Timezone stays where it is and Zone Bowling will go into this space?

Otherwise it would be a fairly small Timezone/Zone Bowling going into the space currently being developed.
I think they have been doing work in the small loading bay area between where the ground floor of Myer is and the food court - potentially the back of the existing Timezone tenancy could link into the new Timezone cafe/bumper cars/laser tag etc. This would also make it easier to operate outside of shopping hours and avoid the need for people to access the new Timezone via the food court after the rest of the shopping centre closes - there's normally a partition/gate that is used to section off the 'dining precinct' from the food court proper once the shopping centre closes - I presume Westfield don't want the Food Court open after-hours given the staffing/cleaning costs?

The Bavarian is being converted to Phuket Town.
Cotton On at Tea Tree Plus has started closing down after five years.
I suspect that's making way for the rumoured Funtopia which was proposed some time ago.
The space where Rebel (former Rowe & Jarman) was has been vacant for a year and a half.

Someone on Reddit told me that Cheap As Chips is returning to Tea Tree Plus where Cotton On/Toys R Us was.
And it's history repeating itself. Cheap As Chips originally opened in the late 2000s where Harris Scarfe was but only lasted for a few years.

Another one bites the bullet!
To Our Valued Customers and Friends,
It is with the deepest regret and sadness that we announce the permanent closure of 42nd Street Cafe Tea Tree Plaza after over 35 wonderful years of service. Our last day of operation will be the 11th of January 2025.
This has been the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make, but unfortunately, we have no choice, as Westfield Shopping Center has decided not to renew our lease.
42nd Street Cafe has been more than just a place to dine; it has been a community—a place filled with laughter, friendships, and cherished memories. We are profoundly grateful for every moment we’ve shared with our amazing customers and dedicated staff over the last three decades.
Your unwavering support, smiles, and loyalty have meant the world to us, and we will treasure these memories forever.
Thank you for being part of our journey. Though our doors may close, the spirit of 42nd Street Cafe will always remain in our hearts.
With love and gratitude,
42nd St Cafe TTP
