The ones I can think of at the moment are:
New Construction
2 x West Central Towers (62M 19St)
Morphett St Apartments (60M 22 St)
City Central Tower 3 (45.5M 12 St)
105 Waymouth St (60M 16St)
374-400 King William St (40M 11 St)
Coglin Place (40M 12 St)
GPO Redevelopment
.
No chance of construction in 2007.
I'll hold you to that and see this time next year however...
All of the above are due to commence in either Q3 or Q4 2007 according to articles I have read.
I base my predictions on market reports and from the council.
The West Central Towers will not begin construction next year, simply due to the fact that it is a well known fact that the towers will only come onto the market once the bus terminal is completed. The bus terminal will be finished by late next year, and for construction to begin there have to be some pre-sales. Also the developers have also applied to the city council to use the Balfours site a s a car-park until 2008.
Colliers International has mentioned that CCT3 will begin construction in 2008/09. The demolition of the shops this year does not mean that construction has actually begun on the building.
The GPO re-development is still in the planning phase, and construction will not begin until 2009/10 if at all.
If a tenant is found 374-400 KWS or Coglin Place may possibly begin construction in the last quarter of 2007, however this is doubtful.
Morphett Street and 105 Waymouth Street have not even been approved by the council, and also a development application has not even been lodged.
