Crane colum pieces have been delivered adjacent the site. Should see a crane rise over the weekend with the closure of King William Street the perfect time to get it done. Construction central that's for sure.

That's for sure... I drove down King William last night past CC2 and the amount of work going on is just phenomenal! Adelaide is certainly changing.

Pics from late this afteroon. First sign of glass! This glass is for the small different coloured section that is meant to blend better with the nearby heritage building. Meant to be a square area over about two floors. The northern-most glass pane is green but if you look at the renders, the CC1 type, flush green glass will come one more pane north of this. Exciting to see glass on King William Street for a change :D

Bmw boy, there are already only 2 lanes in operation in that section as the tramline area is closed off to traffic. I laugh everytime I travel down King William Street by car, often during peak hour. There are no major traffic problems, it is almost more free flowing than before all the tram area closures occurred.

CC2 glass continues to go up, including the cross hatch section towards the northern end of the eastern elevation. Looking good so far.

Couple of pics from late this arvo. CC1 glass looks great with the sun in the arvo/early evening. Can see CC2 core in the 1st pic along with the first floors visible from Victoria Square.

Not sure what's happened to all the advertising. Maybe changing it again? Bit blurry:

champsman wrote:Urban SG, I'm sure this probably isn't your fault, but I can never see the photos you post. I can see everyone elses but I can't see yours and it really shits me!! Its probably because I view the site from an archaic government computer which blocks things for no reason at random. Nearly every internet site I visit at work comes up 'done but with errors'. I can always see atd's photos. Do you have any idea why I wouldn't be able to see yours??
Champsman, I too work for DTEI and the communist policy they have tends to block images dowloading from internet storage sites (imageshack).

I cant believe the restrictions they have...

I download them through photobucket, so maybe that site is blocked? Have you tried viewing them from another computer eg not from work? Government policy hey, got to love it

Its all good mate. I check out the pics from home.

But sometimes I need something to do at work. Browsing on here tends to fill in a bit of time.....
