Flaxjay Pty Ltd has submitted a development application with the ACC ON April 18 for a 12 level tower at 379 King William Street. (DA 318/ 2006)
Features:
*Mainly residential
*Will include 2500 sqm2 of office space
*Construction set to start at the end of this year
*Will be completed by late 2007
*ACC has designated it a category 1 development
*$6 000 000 construction cost
*Expected to be 40m
*I have not confused this development with 379-400 King William Street, this is a separate development.

It's being done by the Tagara group mate. They haven't really done too much in the way of development, but they are great low-medium density builders.
There's a board with a render at the site and it looks pretty good.
Can't seem to find anything online, so I'll take a photo of the board when I get a chance.

It's great that the skyline is starting to grow further south. So with this jobbie, the 11 level office tower and the 8 level apartment building, pretty much opposite this site, the southern end of the CBD is getting all the more denser!

Certainly pleased to see something of decent size going up down there, bout time a few more talls started to close in on the lonesome Optus Building
