#Website Update May 2006

#1 Post by Howie » Thu May 25, 2006 10:50 am

Hiya all,

A few changes have been made to the sensational-adelaide.com site.

One of the things we've been trying to deal with lately is all the robots registering on our website and spamming us with viagra/p0rn links, so we've tightened up the registration process slightly. We're still getting them coming through - so we'll continue to improve things so we get alot less of that.

The front page has been reorganised somewhat. Gone is the "support Mozilla Firefox banner" and in it's place is a new section titled "Supporters". This section is reserved for some outstanding SA organisations who we feel should be supported.

We we're happy to donate some space on our front page to "The Adelaide Review". So you should now all see a unintrusive banner linking our site to The Adelaide Review.

That's it for now, enjoy the site all.

Cheers

Howie

Howie, I was just wondering whether the Adelaide Review will write an article about this forum in exchange for the add?

It would be great if they could write an article about the progressive and visionary forum we have!

It would be nice if they'd write an article, but it's in their court. I'm sure if they find that this site is of any interests to their readers they'll make a mention of it. :)

No worries.. i'm killing their posts. Seems like the new image verification's not doing anything to stop them.

Alright i've made a small change to the board.. this might help.
