Since the building of the two parking lots with 2 hours of free parking in Glenelg, there is a good opportunity to remove the parking spaces along Jetty road and extend the pedestrian area and maybe outdoor seating for restaurants. I can't understand what is the point on keeping approximately 30 parking spaces that are not that essential and would have a huge impact on the user experience of the area.
Likewise, jetty road in Brighton would favor from removing parking spaces and extend the pedestrian area, inviting more people to walk along the roads.
