[SWP] Re: Festival Plaza Tower 2 | 160m | 38 Levels | Office
Won't comment on any of the controversy about the Walker Corp stuff. But I just wanted to say I really do think the plaza has been done fairly well. Feels like it has purpose now and is activated a fair amount with different events. And outside of that it does not too badly at attracting people ...

Re: News & Discussion: Active Transport
All of the flexible bollards have now been removed from the Frome Road bikeway. I'm not sure if they were only ever intended to be temporary until drivers got used to the new layout, or if they're being replaced with something else.
I did feel they looked like a bit of a cheap solution.

Alongside Mariott, Victoria T and Market Sq, this would make a huge impact. As skyline defining as the riverbank. Wish something would happen.
Victoria Square should resemble the Adelaide equivalent of Central Park, appreciate the variety of architectural periods represented around the square ...

[SWP] Re: 10 Anzac Highway | Forestville | Mixed Use
Update 1/6/2025, for froestville. Nothing is happening at the west end (closest to Anazac Hwy). The hole in the ground is still the same. The only activiity has as at the far east end where curbing for a roadway has been poured and some street lights have been installed.
I can never understand ...

So Tiffany is confirmed to open in September with Watches of Switzerland on that side. LV isn't confirmed but most likley will secure it and that fit out will start in the new year. Gucci and Coach are the other most likley designer stores to follow. I suspect the other stores will not be as ...

I went along last night to have a look. The new section is at odds with the old section (neither one is bad, they just don't meld well together), it felt unfinished with so many shopfronts not yet open.

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
It’s more aesthetically pleasing but it’s not a practical solution. In fact, the way I see it, it will only cause more issues with the flow of traffic than having right-hand turning lanes.

I can tell you now that Adelaide will not have a direct Japanese route for a long while.
And we can make this assumption based off of when the premier went to visit Japan either in 2023 or 2024 I can’t remember and they had a meeting with Japan Airways and Japan Airways refused.
Don’t bet ...

Be a bit hard to kick the residents out, but the building next door would make for a very attractive development site as well.

The brick Sarnia Building immediately east is local heritage, which may limit its development potential. The wall should be painted or faced.
You're right. But, by the look of it, not very well maintained, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets green light to either be demolished for a ...
