SourceAll up, the development will feature 250 apartments and 71 terrace homes, with the market square – The Agora – having a supermarket, eateries, cafes and shops.
Almost one third of the development will be open and green space, half of which will be publicly accessible and some of which will include a rooftop urban farm practicing regenerative agriculture.
Disappointing that the architecture isn’t more inspiring than “bland shades of grey boxes”, but that level of greenery is what we need more of in modern developments.Bobski wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2025 3:11 pmWent past this site today - workers are back and it appears to be full steam ahead. I'll be very interested to see how this one comes together, especially the "rooftop urban farm".

Yeah, from memory their cheapest townhouse in the current release is priced at around $950 thousand.
I can never understand why they build roads, gutters and streetlights before they've started building houses. In Bowden they've literally had to dig up these sorts of roads, gutters whilst removing trees and streetlights to build blocks of housing, it's wasteful and the subsequent patch up jobs always look shit.EBG wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 9:33 amUpdate 1/6/2025, for froestville. Nothing is happening at the west end (closest to Anazac Hwy). The hole in the ground is still the same. The only activiity has as at the far east end where curbing for a roadway has been poured and some street lights have been installed.

Part of the whole roads construction process that happens before houses are built is that the individual blocks are filled to a certain design level to ensure adequate drainage of the subdivision (ie the individual parcels of land are higher than the adjacent roadways).Patrick_27 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 02, 2025 1:56 pmI can never understand why they build roads, gutters and streetlights before they've started building houses.
