Here's an article from The Advertiser a couple days ago regarding the 6 level health centre on corner of Wakefield and Hutt streets.....
Pelligra Group granted planning approval for six-storey hospital to help treat low acuity mental health conditions
Planning approval for a 60-bed hospital to help treat low acuity mental health conditions, as part of a broader $120m plan, has been granted.

The Pelligra Group has received the green light to build a 60-bed hospital and health centre for low acuity mental health conditions in the city.
The State Commission Assessment Panel on Wednesday granted planning approval for the six-storey development on the corner of Wakefield and Hutt streets.
The development was believed to be part of the group’s wider $120m plan to create a state-of-the-art health precinct on the site of the old Calvary Hospital.
Pelligra paid $30m for the 9000sq m site in 2020, which included a car park on Ifould St and bluestone villa on Flinders St.
The new health centre would include consulting rooms on the ground and first floors and a hospital across levels three and four, with a rooftop terrace.
It would be voluntary accommodation for 60 patients – for an average 18 to 20 day stay – for treatment for conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety and addiction.
Prior to admission, patients would sign a contract and consent for a treatment document, which included a commitment to not use substances during treatment.
Inpatients would also be required to attend a minimum of four hours of group therapy each day and one-on-one therapy.
The centre would also run a step-down day therapy program for up to 50 outpatients, spread across five groups, per weekday. These patients would also require a GP referral to a consulting psychiatrist.
The current state of this site, 11/12

Thanks for the photos Bobski.
The YWCA building is turning out well. Social housing that's nicer than other recent market proposals.

12/12/2024 Preliminary work has commenced on proposed 6 story apartments at 309 Pirie St. This site was prviously used as a storage yard for the building arround the corner in Hutt St but the site has been cleared and minor levelling has been done. Perhaps Bobski can check out this site end of Jan /early Feb next year.

Sure can! I live nearby. I could take pics every couple of weeks if people are interested to see the progress. I did try to get pics from the Tucker Street side but it was blocked off.
Edit 15/12:
Snuck down today while there were no workers on site to get some pics from the Tucker St side while the road was accessible. Also visible is the back of the 17 Hutt St project.

Progress Pics 26/12 of the
YWCA site at 17 Hutt St.
Hard to get a proper front-on shot of this building because a large tree blocks viewing it from the street (though it will be lovely for the residents to have a green leafy view out their windows

)
Rear view from Tucker St:
And further down Tucker St, site progress on the
SA Housing Trust project for vulnerable older women.

Wandered past this site today. No noticeable progress. Original approval was 2021 and completion date was meant to be March 2025 but it looks like it may not even commence by then. That's a long time for a former hostel to be sitting vacant (especially during a housing crisis).
The
Sutherland Apartments banner out front screams "4 remaining!" but considering there are only 8 total, another way of saying that is they've only managed to sell half since the project was approved. I think the asking price was around $3 million a pop, so probably more by now.

Progress pics 15/01
Hoardings have come down at 17 Hutt Street. It's looking pretty sharp. Several workers on-site doing interior work. It seems very near completion.

Update for 200 East tce. There a 9th level on this site, set back on all 4 sides from the lower levels. This could either be a pent house or may be a plant/lift space.
