landfill of course No doubt all materials have been documented and have been given a value. My guess is that they will end up either being used or recycled for their scrap value. The 'landfill' comment is unhelpful and rather archaic. Not to mention incredibly uneducated. the naivety Prove me wrong...

Shipping containers have been placed on the foundations :?: Were they placed directly over the plumbing? I couldn’t tell. I just quickly drove past. I think this developer built the August Towers though? That was one of the most drawn out developments ever and wasn’t finished in the end. I am not s...

Nice photos. What's happening with the solar panels? Landfill, recycled, reused? Would be good if they reused them at public schools or community sporting clubs. landfill of course No doubt all materials have been documented and have been given a value. An 'expedited development process' will raise some ICAC hairs. It will be very interesting to see the bill proposed to Parliament. The two year closure is baffling. This could only be the case where the construction requires slewing over the Crown and Anchor; 'soundproofing' (sound reducing) conceiv...

Surely more than half a million. MicBara, maybe you can give us some insight? How much money do you think (or know) has been spent just to get Keystone Tower going before construction has even started. The thing about JWDT Pulteney, that gives me a small bit of (delusional) hope that it's still alive - its an awful lot of effort, time and resources to engage an architect and engage planning consultants to design a 180m+ building, especially in Adelaide. If it was just just another stock standard ...

Your transparency in this project should be commended.

The forum is lucky to have developer-side input that is free from speculation.

Fingers crossed - although I am sensing a positive outcome with a range of reserved matters :)

The South Australian Heritage Council has provisionally entered the Crown and Anchor Hotel (Grenfell Street, Adelaide), in the South Australian Heritage Register and is seeking submissions. Anyone may make a submission on the form, which can be found here: https://www.environment.sa.gov.au/topics/h...

Great idea, great location right near the edge of the city, nice use of the old hotel. Watch the Walkerville Council blow this to pieces. I knew SOMEBODY would bugger this up, at least... Just about the only thing they did not have an issue with was the overall height/number of levels! It seems to ...

I can't remember the last time full bricks (not brick slips) were used in a construction of this scale.

I would expect they will be brick slips as it gets further off the ground.

Really looking forward to seeing this one come together.
