Is there any plans to renovate Port Mall?
Just noticed today new Romeo's signage on Lot 2 Canon Street (former Cheap As Chips site)

Yep - real brick! :D
The design of the new arcade reinstates the emblematic arches of the original façade and extends them to the interiors. Made of authentic red brick, the arches lead the public through the development, reaching to the top of the podium hall to form covered laneways, frame ...

[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
It looks like the parks that are off the main corridor are being reasonably well looked after - probably because they have been handed over to councils to maintain (who are mostly well equipped to look after parks because that's part of what we pay our rates for). But the motorway corridor itself ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park is protected from development so that brown bit definitely won't be developed on. There's also some McLaren Vale Character Preservation planning overlays on a few farms down that way as well so it won't be as developed as you may expect it to be. Land releases down ...

[COM] Re: Armada Arndale (Redevelopment) | $200m
I wonder if the new owner intends on building on the vacant land at the back? Would be good to see it developed as shops on the ground floor and apartments above (not tiny townhouses that all look the same).
I think that land where the new car park is at the back was sold off not long ago ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Skyrail would be best between Smithfield Station and Munno Para Station as it will be quick to build and allow a new east-west road link (connecting Newton Boulevard to Karri Street and Main North Road).

I feel Glenelg needs treatment like St Kilda, remove cars between Moseley Street and roughly the library on Colley Terrace. Restrict it to a shared zone for buses, trams and pedestrians.

[PRO] Re: Playford Ice Arena
Playford, like Salisbury, Port Adelaide Enfield and Onkaparinga, is quite wide from the foothills to the sea. Characterising the entire population of the LGA as "poor" or "rich" is unreasonable. It might work for smaller councils like Adelaide, Walkerville and Charles Sturt.
I'm not ...

The level crossing removal will improve travel times and reliability for one of Adelaide's most popular route, the M44 and others such as 100 and 248.
Recent changes to Adelaide Metro bus services have seen route numbers. Once the level crossing is removed at Marion Road, TT and the Government ...

Re: News & Discussion: Squares and Parklands
Furthering on the aforementioned, they should remove roads entirely from these squares, be it through or perimeter. Turn the nearby laneways into replacement/alternate routes. Honestly, the entitled dependency of Adelaideans using their private vehicle and the subsequent requirement to cater for ...

Re: Thebarton Brewery Site Redevelopment
If this gets built it'll need either a bus lane, more tram services or both. Port Road in this section is clogged now.
