Still needs to get Building Rules Consent from what I understand. Until we see that, nothing will be happening on site.

imagine thinking this is an equivalence to opening a single hotel building under construction
the mental gymnastics required to win at internet is strong in this one
It doesn’t mean the entire hotel has to open by that time. Just some of the lower level of the hotel can start opening up ...

For 2027 to be achieved, construction has to commence by the end of this year then.

[SWP] Re: Festival Plaza Tower 2 | 149m | 38 Levels | Office
Forgive my ignorance, but I thought the carpark substructure and columns were built with the second tower provisions already in place?
The carpark structure was only designed to support the originally proposed 3 level plaza building. Looks like the basement is currently being cut open to allow ...

This is great news. Mount Gambier is in desperate need of modern hotel accommodation options.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines
Are we getting short-changed by Singapore Airlines? No, not by the number of flights they are currently offering (10-times a week) which is better than daily, but their on time performance. It seems many flights out of Changi are departing late, arriving late here and further delays on the return ...

The well-spoken @Micbara was on the ABC Radio broadcast today. He said that the previous plans to incorporate a SA history museum component into the building did not receive funding/support from the state government, so instead they have opted to increase the hotel portion of the building. From ...

I don't think that's the crane pad. Looks like a pad footing with starter bars for columns. Crane pad would be near the front of the site.

I'd like to think this is a bottleneck rather than severe induced demand.
I haven't heard what the current design offers to avoid the same thing northbound at Anzac Highway since the flyover was replaced in the design by traffic lights.
I assume they're forecasting a lot of the city bound ...

Post on linked in by Auta say they expect to top out in December this year!
That is exciting!
But in my opinion is unrealistic, or just a lie, however you wanna take it. They are building level 18 at the moment, and they started construction at the beginning of July 2023, so more than a year ...

There's no missing struts. The loads from the upper floors are transferred to the columns via the larger beams just above the driveways to prevent vehicle access being obstructed.
